Explains how truu drinking water treatment works using the direct-flow process, how the high-tech membrane achieves its full filtration performance through operating pressure, and how to dispense water correctly. Contains concrete recommendations for the daily filling routine.
The truu drinking water treatment systems operate with high-tech membranes using the latest generation direct-flow process. This means that water is only produced when the drinking water tap is opened. The water passes through all 8 treatment steps and also passes through the high-tech membrane with a diameter of 1 millionth of a hair. Compared to conventional technologies on the market, we produce the highest quality cell-available water with exceptional flow rate. This makes preparing perfect drinking water child's play.
In order for the membrane to deliver full performance, the operating pressure must first be built up to at least 8 bar. As the pressure increases, the individual membrane layers are pressed together more and more tightly, thus increasing the filtration performance to its maximum value. This process takes approximately 2 minutes. During this time, the first purified water is already being produced. We recommend not simply letting this water run down the drain, but instead collecting it and using it, for example, to water plants or for other applications where water does not need to be of the highest quality level. Once the operating pressure is established, your truu system is at full capacity and produces pure and cell-available water of the best quality for you.
In general, the rule applies: the longer the water runs continuously, the more the membrane is compressed and the more perfect water is produced. Since we use self-cleaning membranes, these are also rinsed as soon as the operating pressure is reached. Your membrane loves to run for as long as possible. Please do not turn off the tap and turn it back on when changing bottles, because turning it off would immediately cause the operating pressure to drop and then it would need two minutes to build up again. This would be water waste and would also interrupt the membrane's cleaning process. Our recommendation is therefore to fill a 5-liter bottle in the morning for daily use in the kitchen and then a 2-liter bottle for each person in the household and possibly 5-liter bottles for drinking students. This way, drinking water treatment can be easily integrated into your morning routine.
